Two Men Charged In Wall Home Invasion, One At Large: Police

Two men who were arrested in Union County earlier this month were arrested again following a home invasion in Wall Township in January, authorities said.

On Monday, Jan. 20, three masked men forcibly entered a home on Baileys Corner Road through a rear window, Wall Township police said.

The homeowner said the suspects stole car keys from a counter inside the home but were unable to remove the vehicle from the property, police said.

The suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle heading west on Allaire Road, toward Route 34, police said.

Yasir Twitty, 21, and Nymir Marks, 19 were arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit residential burglary, criminal attempt to commit theft, conspiracy to commit theft and criminal attempt to commit residential burglary. 

Twitty and Marks were previously arrested on Saturday, March 1, after a gun was found in a traffic stop in Berkeley Heights, police said.

At the time of their arrest, Twitty had an outstanding criminal warrant issued by the Township of Edison and Marks was found to have multiple criminal warrants issued by the City of East Orange, police said. 

A third suspect remains at large, police said.
